Day 47: Seeking First His Kingdom (61 days of worry-free devotions)

Day 47 the way I have it in the book version of this devotional just doesn’t feel right for me to type today. If you care to look up the verses on your own, they are:

Ephesians 5:5, Galatians 5:16-26, and Galatians 6:1. (Definitely don’t forget Galatians 6:1.)

Perhaps I will come back someday and edit in what I wrote in the book version, but for today I just want to say that God loves you. Jesus loves you even though you aren’t perfect. The verses above are about what kind of person Paul says will not enter the kingdom. Important to think about, but first accept Jesus. He loves you. Then work on the rest. It’s not necessarily an immediate change.

Change is hard, and God knows that. He invented people.

I usually use the verses to make a kingdom statement with which to replace your worries, but today, how about ENTER THE KINGDOM AND THEN LET HIS SPIRIT WORK IN YOU. Or use one of your favorites from the previous days or from the verses mentioned above.

Much love,

M.L. Millard
