As you read another passage where Jesus talks about the kingdom, think of the phrase you’ll use to replace your worries today.
He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, and this is smaller than all other seeds; but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and rest in its branches.”
He spoke another parable to them, “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three pecks of meal, until it was all leavened.”
I’ve always found it amazing how the kingdom has grown from just those first few followers of Jesus. There are believers in almost every corner of the world now. But what struck me THIS time is the fact that Jesus was RIGHT! Who could have predicted the exponential growth of the kingdom seed if he (He) was not part of God who sees time outside of time?
